LeMieux Summer/Fly Rug Sunstopper Stone

The LeMieux Sunstopper with detachable neck is a great transitional rug to warmer weather, when a fly blanket is still a bit too cold. The back and top of the neck are made of UV-resistant 450D ripstop to keep out the sun's rays and provide a light layer of warmth for the most important muscle groups on colder days. The rest of the rug is made of UV-resistant micro-mesh to keep out insects and to allow for a pleasant airflow, making the Sunstopper ideal for seasonal changes. The fine-meshed fabric, the extra large tail flap and the belly flap with three surcingles also offer your horse optimum protection against flies and other insects. The rug is equipped with the Pressure Relief System on the chest. This ergonomically shaped closure system ensures greater freedom of movement for the shoulders and neck. The rug has two rings on each side for attaching the neck piece. Because of the good fit and the leg arches, the rug stays in place and your horse has plenty of freedom of movement. The elastic leg strap with smooth PVC outside can be easily cleaned. The middle girth is removable by means of velcro. Machine washable. Available in the colour stone.
